Please find below some useful information regarding our Policies and Procedures, we well as our basic salon terms and conditions.
By using our website and our salon services, you agree that you have read and understand these terms and conditions. Should you have any questions in relation to these, please do not hesitate to get in touch via the Contact Us page.
BOOKING FEE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Some of our treatments will require a Booking Fee to be made prior to the appointment. By making a booking fee, you are securing the time and date of an appointment that has been agreed and confirmed between yourself and our salon.
This payment is taking off what you owe on the day of your treatment. Please note that all booking fee's are non-refundable, so please ensure you are 100% able to attend the appointment before making this payment.
All booking fee's are non-transferable, unless we can fill the appointment that you have cancelled.
By making this payment, you agree to these terms and conditions.
COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, LBT have implemented some changes within the Salon to help keep clients and staff safe. We kindly ask all clients to read through our policies and procedures and help us continue to offer appointments in a safe manner.
Please be aware that you will see/hear of other salons doing things differently. I cannot stress enough that this does not mean we (or the other salon) are doing things wrong! If you have any concerns or suggestions about the way we are doing things, we kindly ask you to speak privately to the salon owner Tania Withers, who will be happy to discuss your concerns with you. Our intentions will always be to keep our valued clients AND staff as safe as possible following the guidelines given to us by the Government and Beauty Authorities.
Our staff will happily explain any changes to our policies or what we need you to do when you enter and whilst in the salon. We will do our very best to continue to make your visit a relaxing and enjoyable one, whilst we get used to some new changes.
You will be required to wear a mask for the duration of all appointments. This should be applied upon entering the salon. If you do not have one or forget to bring your own, you can purchase one from your therapist on the day for £1 (cash only direct to your therapist)
You will be requested to wash your hands on entering the premises. Please use the disposable towels, or single use towels which will be available next to all hand washing facilities. Please DO NOT throw disposable towels in the toilet as this will block the toilet.
Nail clients may be asked to use a nail brush when they arrive for their appointment
You must come to your appointments alone. You will not be able to bring a friend/children/partner to wait within the salon during your appointment. (If you require a Chaperone, please contact us to discuss how we can support you with this)
Please try and use toilet facilities at home before arriving, where possible
We are no longer able to have soft blankets on the lash couches, so please wrap up warm or feel free to bring your own blanket to your appointment
You will be asked to wait outside of the salon until your appointment time to reduce the number of people in the salon at any one time. Please try and arrive promptly to avoid losing time on your treatment. We will stagger appointments to help this run smoothly
Refreshments will be limited for the moment, but you are welcome to bring your own water bottle with you
Please bring minimal possessions to your appointments. Anything that can be left safely in the car/at home should be (shopping, coats, scarfs, phones).
We are happy to continue to receive payment in cash or card. The card machine does accept contactless payments up to the amount of £45 or chip and pin is of course available
We will operate a strict policy of no walk-ins. ALL appointments must be made in advance either by telephone or social media contact
We are switching to an online booking system and will require ALL clients to complete a new consultation form. This will be sent via email and can be returned in the same way. This will be sent to you prior to each appointment for you to confirm that everything is up to date, including that you have not been unwell or been in contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days
We reserve the right to refuse any client for an appointment if we believe that you are unwell, have been unwell within 14 days or if you do not follow our policies and procedures. This is for the safety of all of our clients and staff
We operate with high standards in terms of cleanliness, procedures and guidelines anyway, but you will notice some of these things will now be highlighted to put your mind at ease. We will also be introducing additional measures to meet with the Government guidelines.
We will welcome you with a smiley face and verbal greeting (hidden behind a mask), but regret we cant hug or touch you
We will wear masks and visors for all treatments
We will wash our hands thoroughly between appointments
Some therapists may choose to wear gloves for some treatments. These will be changed between every client
We will sanitise the entire couch and workstation between every client
Our tools will be thoroughly disinfected and sanitised between every client and disposable tools will be used where possible and discarded between treatments
We will disinfect contact points regularly, such as door handles, card machine, toilet and hand washing areas
Extra cleaning regimes will be implemented overall
We may have to reduce the number of therapists working at any one time, which may mean our opening hours/appointment times might change or be varied. We are working hard to ensure we can meet demand, but please be aware this is tricky for many of us with managing children with lack of childcare options and having to implement new changes such as gaps between clients etc.
We will ventilate the area as much as we can (weather permitting)
Staff are not required to wear both their mask and visor whilst not carrying out treatments i.e working behind reception or passing from one area to another, but they will always have them on before they start the treatment and for the duration. Please appreciate that its incredibly difficult wearing both items for long periods (especially in warmer weather), so they will occasionally remove items when not in treatment.
Our salon policies and procedures will be reviewed weekly and you may notice additional or new changes when you come to each appointment.

NO CHILDREN POLICY
Due to COVID-19 new Policies and Procedures , we regret that our general 'No Children Policy' (as seen below) has been over-ridden,
meaning no children/friends/partners are able to accompany you during any appointments for the foreseeable future. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please note; for safety reasons, no child under the age of 10 years may accompany you during your visit.
We love children and most of us here are mums ourselves, but do not have the facilities to care for them and we regret that we cannot guarantee their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of other guests who may be having a quiet treatment. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
When you attend your first appointment with LBT, you will be required to complete a consultation form. The main reason for this is so that we can safely carry out your treatment. This does mean that we need to collect some personal data from you also. We may send this via email, but if you will require a patch test, you may be asked to complete this on arrival.
Its likely that we will need to make contact with you regarding your booked appointments, so will require permission to contact you using this data.
We will store your data to comply with our public and product liability insurance and to be able to safely continue treatments and keep records of products used, should any issues/problems/allergies arise. Paper consultation forms and data will be stored in a locked cabinet. Electronic consultation forms will be securely stored within our Ovatu booking app/system. Both options are stored so that only LBT Team Members can access them and we will not not share your data with third parties.
Your data will be stored for 7yrs to comply with our insurance policies. You can opt out at any time by writing to the Salon Owner; Tania Withers. If you decide to opt out and withdraw consent, we will no longer be able to perform treatments on you.
