Experience a holistic journey of healing and relaxation with our Clinical Aromatherapy Full Body Massage. This expertly tailored treatment combines the therapeutic power of clinically selected essential oils with skilled massage techniques to ease muscle tension, calm the nervous system, and enhance your overall wellbeing. Using natural plant extracts absorbed through the skin and inhaled aromas, the massage works deeply to promote physical relief and mental clarity, leaving you balanced, refreshed, and restored.

Aromatherapy is generally a lighter pressure massage than say for example deep tissue massage. It includes gentle movements which aim to drain lymph to the nearest lymph node, often located in the under arms, abdomen and upper leg/groin. With aromatherapy we use sweeping movements towards these areas to help to drain the lymph; this lymph is then removed from the body, via the blood, processed through the kidneys, and eventually out through the body. We also use gentle pressure points during aromatherapy focusing on your breathing which are deeply relaxing and calming for the nervous system. Kneading and wringing movements (typically involved in Swedish massage) will also be used in areas of aches and pains but at a slower pace.

 

Imogen will carry out a 30 minute in depth consultation before I begin to get a true understanding of what your needs are during the treatment process. I will then work on the full body starting on the back of the legs, back, neck and shoulders; then onto the front of the legs, abdomen, arms, décolleté, back of the shoulders and neck, face and finally the scalp.

Whether it be for relaxation, mental clarity/balance or a more problematic/long term condition such as anxiety, depression, IBS, post surgery, menopause symptoms etc. My aim is to help clients live a more balanced life. With a personalised treatment plan to make lifestyle adjustments where necessary.
