Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice which involves the insertion of very thin, sterile needle into specific pressure points on the body. This is designed to stimulate nerves, muscles, and connective tissue. It aims to balance energy flow, release natural pain-relieving chemicals like endorphins, and treat conditions like chronic pain, migraines, bloating, nausea and promote general wellbeing.
Imogen is now training in the second level of Acupuncture and will soon be able to treat even more areas such as musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, ankle, foot, and spine.
